Two Sides, One Coin

Drugs are awful, drugs are wonderful

A friend of a friend died of a fentanyl overdose last month; a family member’s life is being prolonged by prescription this month.

The former did not require the drug, the second does.

The former tried to anesthesize her emotions, the latter her body

The former was changing her life, leaving a bad relationship, the latter put too much of herself into work

Both experienced consequences

Rx roulette, one sanctioned, one not

Two outcomes, one coin.

Today

Today was a worthless day, so I decided to delete all posts on this blog, remove the password requirement for reading, and begin anew.

There.
